Description
29 and 30 Bishopston is a cottage that was originally two separate units, dating back to the 17th century and later modified. It is constructed from ham stone that has been cut and squared, with ashlar dressings. The building features a double Roman clay tiled roof that abuts to the north and continues to the south, along with a brick chimney stack. It stands two storeys high and has three bays. On the ground floor, there are hollow-chamfered mullioned windows set in chamfered recesses under labels, with three lights that have inserted casements. Above, there are plain casements from the early 20th century. To the left of the lower bay two, there is a chamfered doorway with a cambered arch, lacking a label, which has an old boarded door and is accessed by one step. The interior has not been seen.
