Description

This is an unidentified chest tomb located about 3 metres east of the chancel of the Church of St. Margaret on St Margaret's Road. It dates from the 17th century and is made of Ham stone. The base is buried, and the sides are plain. It features plain cavetto coving leading to a thick flat top with rounded edges. Although the name is unreadable, the death date inscribed on it is 1617.
