Description

Acacia Cottage is an early 19th-century house. It is constructed of rendered stone, with the appearance of ashlar and emphasised pilasters. The left side of the roof has a coped verge, and a brick stack is present. The house has two storeys and two bays. The upper floor has three-light casement windows with glazing bars, set in cambered head openings with emphasised lintels and keystones. A 20th-century two-light casement window with a transom sits on the ground floor, also within a cambered head opening. The right side features a door opening with a six-panelled door in a Gothic style; the top three panels of the outer two panels are glazed. The building is primarily listed for its group value with Cobblers Cottage.
