Description

This is a chest tomb located approximately 20 metres north of the north transept of the Parish Church in Chard. It dates from the mid-18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a moulded cornice on a shallow hipped top, with panels that have a worn inscription. The long sides of the tomb are adorned with pilasters that have three panels each.
