Description

No. 15, The Crescent is a building of group value with the surrounding terrace, built as a further length in 1807 and now slightly separated from Nos. 1 to 11. It is a three-storey house with a basement, constructed from pinkish-brown brick. The facade is divided by plain pilasters. The roof is slate, hidden behind parapets. Each house has two windows, with sash windows featuring glazing bars. The ground floor has round-headed openings, while the first floor has segmental iron balconies. The doorways are also round-headed, with traceried fanlights above. The doorways contain eight-panel doors in two leaves. Attached railings enclose the forecourts and franking basement steps. The listed buildings collectively contribute to the group value of the Crescent, and are also valued alongside No. 14, Wall Bath Place and the Dragon Book Shop on Corporation Street.
