Description
The stable block, located about 40 metres east of Manor Farmhouse, is likely from the 18th century. It is constructed of local stone rubble with Ham stone ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof over stone slate base courses. The roof has stepped coped gables topped with obelisk finials. Inside, there are fourteen bays supported by a collar and Queenpost trussed roof with braced purlins. The south side has mostly later doorways, while the north side retains two early doorways, with the left doorways leading to both end gables and a lower doorway on the east side. This building holds significant group value with Manor Farmhouse.
