Description

This is an 18th-century chest tomb located about 12 meters north of the north aisle of the Church of St Nicholas in Combe St Nicholas. It is made of Ham stone and features a ledger top with a moulded cornice and plinth. The plinth is sunk below round, and there are two fluted Ionic pilasters at the east and west ends, with three on the north and south faces. The south face is inscribed, but the inscription is no longer legible due to significant erosion of the surface.
