Description
This is a row of three houses located at 20, 21, and 22 Salmon Parade, built around 1830 to 1850. The houses are constructed of painted ashlar with stone architraves, cills, and doorcases. They feature a slate roof and brick stacks at the gable ends and party walls, which are truncated on the right side. The buildings have a double-depth plan and are two storeys high, with each house having a two-window range. The wide eaves support a bracketed roof, and the houses have 6/6-pane sash windows. The doorcases, positioned to the right of each house, are adorned with cornices on paired reeded consoles and panelled pilasters. These doorcases also feature elliptical-arched fanlights with radiating glazing bars and four-panel doors that have key-pattern ornamentation on the top panels. The interiors have not been inspected.
