Description

Ladywell House is a house with a former doctor’s surgery, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of pinkish-brown brick with stuccoed coved eaves and an overhanging hipped roof covered in Welsh slate. The main block is two storeys and three bays wide, with stone steps leading to a central entrance. The entrance features a six-panel door with a decorated oblong fanlight, set within a stucco doorcase of pilasters and an entablature. Sash windows with glazing bars are set under channelled stucco surrounds and plain cills. A lower domestic wing is set at a right angle to the west, built of similar date and materials.
