Description
Crayker House is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed of pinkish-brown brick, featuring red brick and ashlar dressings, topped with a pantile roof. The house has a central entrance plan with a range at the rear and stands two storeys high with three bays. The entrance is a 20th-century part-glazed door, and there are 20th-century windows in the original openings throughout, all set under flat arches made of gauged brick. A three-course band runs along the first floor, and there is a modillion eaves cornice made of red brick. The building has brick kneelers and ashlar coping, with end stacks and a blocked pitching door on the right gable end.
