Description
The White House is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century, with later additions and alterations, including a range to the right that is of no special interest. It is constructed of rendered and colourwashed brick, topped with a pantile roof. The building features a lobby-entry plan and stands two storeys high, with two first floor windows. There is a plinth and an off-centre entrance with a 20th-century part-glazed door. The windows throughout are late 20th-century multi-paned, with those on the first floor being bowed. The house has a cogged eaves band, a swept roof, and rendered kneelers and coping. It also has a ridge and end stack, along with a fire mark above the door.
