Description
The Hollies is a house dating to 1763, with subsequent additions and alterations. It is constructed of pinkish-brown brick with ashlar dressings, and has a pantile roof. The building is two storeys high and has four bays. A plinth runs along the base. The entrance is located in the third bay, featuring a 20th-century glazed door beneath a blind fanlight with a rounded arch and central keystone. Four-pane sash windows are present throughout, each with a wedge lintel. Above the door is a blind Venetian window, with the date "1763" carved into the keystone. A dentil eaves cornice runs along the top of the building, leading to sprocketed eaves. Ashlar coping and kneelers are visible. An end and ridge stack is present, along with a county fire mark.
