Description
The coach house and stables to Tythe Farm, dating from the late 18th century, are constructed of pinkish-brown brick with red brick dressings and feature a pantile roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of seven bays. The central sixth bay has a plank stable door with an overlight, while the second bay has a partly-blocked stable door now fitted with double plank doors. There is also a litter cart opening in the seventh bay and three additional blind openings, all topped with cambered heads made of red rubbed brick. A later addition includes a casement window. On the first floor, there is a central Venetian opening and several oculi, all with red brick dressings, including a glazed window in the first bay and another inserted casement. The building features a stepped eaves band and a roof that is hipped to the left. This structure is included for its group value.
