Description

The Orchard is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century, with later additions and alterations including a range at the rear. It is constructed of colourwashed and rendered brick, topped with a pantile roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. The central entrance features a late 20th century six-fielded-panel door with an overlight above it. Throughout the house, there are nine-pane casements. Above the door, there is a blocked elliptically-arched window opening. The first floor has a band, and the eaves are adorned with dentils. The roof is swept, and there are rendered copings, kneelers, and end stacks.
