Description

Two lead urns are located on the terrace west of Newby Hall. These urns date from the early 18th century and are made of lead. They feature a fluted stem and neck, with bowls decorated with scrolls and acanthus leaves, and each urn has two handles shaped like entwined snakes. The urns stand on a restored three-tier stone base.
