Description
The urn and pedestal located to the south of the west end of Statue Walk in Newby Park are likely from the mid-19th century, with restorations made in the 20th century. They are made of stone and have a surface coating of sand. The pedestal features a moulded plinth and cornice, along with fielded panels. The urn has a turned back rim and grotesque masks depicted in deep relief.
