Description
A group of four urns and pedestals is located on the vista south of Newby Hall. They were probably created in the mid-19th century and are made of ashlar stone. Each pedestal is set on a deep stepped plinth and features square fielded panels along with a deep cornice. The urns are gadrooned at the base of the bowl and have a turned-back top edge, adorned with reliefs of fruit and flowers.
