Stables Approximately 100 Metres to North West of Pepper Arden

The building is a stable block located approximately 100 metres to the north-west of Pepper Arden, dating from the late 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with yellow brick banding, stone dressings, and a Welsh slate roof. The layout features a square courtyard with a central two-storey range that includes a clock tower, all designed in a classical style.

The entrance front faces south-east and consists of one storey with 15 bays. It features a central arched carriage entrance framed by a stone architrave and keystone. On either side, there are Tuscan columns standing on a plinth, accompanied by a frieze and cornice. A patera is positioned on either side of the keystone, and the entrance is topped with a pediment that has a stone mutule-cornice. The flanking bays are separated by brick quoin pilasters, and there is a stone band at plinth height. Each bay has a raised brick panel, while the end bays project forward and contain arched sash windows with keystones, all beneath stone-coped pediments topped with ball finials.

The central range is two storeys high and also consists of 15 bays, with the central bay breaking forward. It features a round arched doorway with a fanlight, and segmental-arched 4-pane sashes on either side, along with board doors in bays 3 and 13 that also have segmental arches. There is a first-floor band, and the central arched window breaks into an open pediment with stepped and cogged eaves, finished with ashlar coping. Brick pilasters on either side separate the bays, which also have stepped and cogged eaves, topped with a stone cornice.

The central clock tower features a clock face set in a round stone surround and is topped with a pyramidal roof and a square stone bellcote. The wings on either side consist of one storey with 9 bays, designed in the same style as the central range, while the north-east range includes a carriage arch and hipped roofs. The rear range is one storey with 24 bays, featuring 4-pane sashes with segmental brick arches and 4-panel doors with segmental brick arches in bays 2, 15, and 22, maintaining the same style as the central range. The rear also includes two storeys with carriage arches.
