Description
This is a row of three cottages located at 14, 16, and 18 Park Street, dating from the late 18th century. The cottages are constructed from coursed rubblestone with ashlar dressings and feature a graduated stone slate roof. They are two storeys high and consist of four bays. The left side has quoins.
There are three four-panel doors with plain stone surrounds positioned between bays one and two, two and three, and three and four. All windows have stone lintels; the windows in bays one and two also have stone sills. Bay one features a 16-pane side-sliding sash window, bay two has a 24-pane sash window, while bays three and four have 4-pane side-sliding sashes. On the first floor, bay one has a 16-pane sash window, bay two has an unequally-hung 20-pane side-sliding sash, and bays three and four again have 4-pane side-sliding sashes. The building is adorned with shaped kneelers and stone coping, and it has end stacks as well as two ridge stacks.
