Description

Morton House is a late 17th-century house located on Masham Park Street. It is constructed from coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and features a graduated stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and three first-floor windows, although one of these is blocked. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door set within a moulded stone architrave, flanked by 19th-century canted bay windows. On the first floor, there are four-pane sash windows also in moulded stone architraves. To the left, there is a small blind opening with a moulded architrave. The attic storey includes three small blind openings with moulded architraves, and to the left, there is a blind oval opening. The house has end stacks.
