Description

Bellwood is a house dating from around 1800, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of dressed limestone, featuring a brick eaves course, and has a concrete pantile roof with brick stacks. The building has a central-staircase plan and is one room deep with an outshut. It is two storeys high and has a two-window front. The central entrance includes a part-glazed door that is accessed by stone steps. The windows throughout the house are 20th-century additions with top-opening lights in altered openings. There are heavy painted lintels above the ground-floor openings and end stacks. The property is included for its group value.
