Description

Arch Cottage is an early 19th-century building that was originally a reading room and is now a house. It is constructed of limestone rubble that has been brought to course, with a Welsh slate roof. The cottage features a central hallway entry and stands two storeys tall, with three windows on the first floor. There is a wide arch leading to the porch, which contains a 20th-century half-glazed door flanked by casement windows. The first floor also has casement windows, all of which are set beneath tooled channelled lintels. The gable has coping, shaped kneelers, and end stacks. The cottage to the left is not of special interest.
