Description

The Village Hall, formerly known as The School, is a building from the 1830s. It is constructed of hammer-dressed limestone with ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof. The structure is single storey with an open schoolroom and additional rooms at each end. The central section is taller and comprises three bays, each with 20-pane sash windows. There is a boarded door on the left side and another 20-pane sash window on the right. Keyed stone lintels are present throughout, and the windows are framed in dressed architraves. The roof of the central and right sections has gable coping, shaped kneelers, and end stacks, while the left section has a lean-to roof.
