Description

Fountain House is a pair of cottages likely dating from the early 17th century, with later alterations. The east gable is brick-faced, while the west gable displays timber framing with close studding, arch braces, stout posts, and heavy tie beams. There is mock timber framing to the front of the building. It has a steeply-pitched swept pantile roof with rebuilt end and ridge chimneys. The cottage has two storeys with three Yorkshire sash windows on the first floor and two panelled doors.
