Description

These are two 18th or early 19th century cottages located in Ruswarp. They are built of stone with Welsh slate roofs and have two storeys. Each cottage has four windows, featuring double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground floor window of number 4 has a double-hung sash with glazing bars. Number 4 has a modern door with a rectangular fanlight, protected by a flat hood with a trellis. Number 5 features a modern window on the ground floor and a modern door with a rectangular fanlight, also beneath a flat hood. The cottages form a group with Carr Cottage, Mulgrove Cottage and numbers 1 to 5.
