Description

The building at 21 and 23 High Street, Ruswarp, dates from the 18th century and is constructed of stone. It is curved to follow the street layout. The building has two storeys. The upper floor has three windows: one window with two lights, and two windows each with a single light, lacking glazing bars. The ground floor has three windows; one of six lights is located in number 21, while number 23 features a modern window and a fixed light with a single opening casement. A band runs horizontally between the two floors. The roof is covered in slate. The property is part of a group with numbers 1 to 33 (odd).
