Description

The House at Settle Station is a building likely constructed for the Station Master in 1876 for the Midland Railway, designed by engineer J C Crossley. It is made of rock-faced stone with a slate roof and features a simple cruciform shape with steep gables. The building has two storeys and a roughly cruciform layout, with steeply gabled facades. The windows have segmental heads and most of the glazing has been altered. Central moulded chimney stacks are also present. This house is included in the listing for its group value.
