Description
This is a late 17th-century house, with alterations to the upper parts in the early 19th century. It is constructed of large, regularly coursed squared stone, with a prominent sloped plinth. The upper twelve courses are of red brick. The roof is covered in pantiles, with stone copings and kneelers, and has rebuilt brick end chimneys. The house has two storeys and three windows, featuring modern two- and three-light windows with one bar. A six-panel door, with a top glazed panel, is set within a chamfered stone doorway, featuring a heavy lintel and jambs. Carved into the lintel is "H.1 + A 1715".
