Description
Preston House, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, features a pinkish brick exterior and a Welsh slate roof with stone copings and brick end chimneys. The building is two storeys high and has three windows, along with a slightly lower, set back right bay. The sash windows have gauged brick flat arches and stone cills, with wooden architraves that include glazing bars. The main entrance consists of two six-panel doors, with the main door featuring an oblong fanlight and a fluted pilaster surround. To the left, there are stable wings that have a base of large dressed stones, a brick first floor, plain boarded doors, and one sash window. These wings connect to a garden wall made of large dressed stones that runs along the east side of the garden.
