Description
Garth House is an 18th-century building located on the south side of Levenside in Stokesley. It features dressed stone plinths arranged in English garden wall bond and is constructed from local hand-made brick. The roof is pantiled and includes off-centre and end brick chimneys, along with a flat late 19th-century dormer. The house has two storeys and six windows, likely representing two separate builds that are currently obscured by creeper. The two right-hand windows above the carriageway have modern lintels, and there is a subsidiary door next to them. The windows are sash style, with those on the first floor featuring glazing bars and gauged flat arches on the left. The entrance includes a four-panel door topped with an oblong fanlight, all framed by a simple pilaster surround.
