Description

Leven House is a late 18th century and 19th century building that has been converted into flats. It features a stucco exterior and a low pitched Welsh slate roof with four ridge chimneys. The structure has three storeys and four windows, with late 19th century sash windows. On the ground floor, there is a canted bay on the left and a half-glazed door with a fanlight set beneath a round arch with a key block. At the rear, there is a long wing that was formerly a warehouse or mill building. This building is notable as the only remaining structure in Stokesley that demonstrates a large-scale connection between residential and business premises.
