Description
The Bell Tower, located approximately 7 metres west of the south front of Hauxwell Hall, is a folly built in the late 18th to early 19th century, incorporating some older materials. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a base of four circular steps. The tower has a two-stage central circular "colonnade" made up of mullioned chamfered windows, with a band of torus moulding separating the two stages. At the top, there is a cornice and a cupola made of corbelled stonework, crowned with a pineapple finial.
