Description
Laurel Bank is a pair of cottages, now functioning as a house, dated 1760. The building is constructed of coursed stone and features a Welsh slate roof. It stands two storeys high and has four first-floor windows. In the second bay, there is a four-panel door set in a sandstone "M" ashlar chamfered surround with interrupted jambs, and the lintel is inscribed with "G P. 1760". The side-sliding sash windows are positioned under projecting stone sill-like lintels, except for the ground floor in bay three, where a deep stone lintel remains after a doorway has been removed. The building is adorned with shaped kneelers and ashlar copings, and it has end stacks, with the left stack made of brick.
