Description

Village Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse located on the east side of Main Street in Hauxwell. It is built of rubble with a stone slate roof and has three storeys and three bays. The building features quoins and a central porch that has a four-panel door set in a chamfered-quoined surround. The pent roof has shaped kneelers and ashlar copings. The windows are casements under deep lintels, with the centre window on the first floor and all windows on the top floor being blind. The blind windows are painted to resemble glazing bars and are smaller in size. The farmhouse also has shaped kneelers and ashlar copings, along with ashlar end stacks.
