Description

Fox and Hounds House is a house built in the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed limestone and has a pantile roof. The original structure consisted of two cells, with a third cell added to the right and a cross wing at the rear left. The house has two storeys and features three first-floor windows. There is a straight joint to the right of the front door, which is accessed by steps leading up to a four-panel door with an overlight. The left side of the house has two-light Yorkshire sashes with segmental arches on both floors, while the right side has 16-pane sashes with wedge lintels on both floors. The building also has end and ridge stacks.
