Description

A house dating from the late 17th to early 18th century, with 20th-century renovations. The house is constructed of limestone rubble with a pantile roof. It has a three-cell direct-entry plan, with the left-end cell now used as a garage. The house is two storeys high with two first-floor windows. A 20th-century stable door is flanked by 16-pane sash windows, all with wooden lintels. To the extreme left is a garage door with a concrete lintel. The first floor has two 2-light Yorkshire sash windows that break the stepped eaves course. The roof has sprocketed eaves, and the end and ridge stacks have been rebuilt. Inside, there are three good tie beam trusses with carpenters’ assembly marks clearly visible.
