Description

The Pound, located on the north side of Plompton Road in Follifoot, is a structure that possibly dates back to the 17th century and was restored in 1975. It is made of coursed gritstone rubble and has a circular shape, measuring approximately 7 metres in diameter. The walls are about 1 to 2 metres high. There is an opening on the north side that features a 20th-century wooden gate.
