Description

The boundary wall to Nos 1 and 2 and to Nos 5, 6, and 7 was built around 1855 by William Butterfield. It is made of red brick and features buttresses at the gateways. The wall has pointed coping made of cement that imitates stone. Its height varies but is approximately 80 cm. The section of the wall that runs across the fronts of Nos 1 and 2 is similar in style, although both stretches are in poor condition. Part of the walling at the rear has been removed. This structure is included in the listing for its group value context.
