Description

This is a house located at 55 Newbiggin, built in the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed from coursed squared stone and features brick end stacks on a pantile roof. The building has a two-storey front with two windows. The entrance consists of a 20th-century half-glazed door with a divided overlight, positioned between 12-pane sash windows. The first floor also has similar sash windows. All windows are fitted with painted stone sills, and each opening is topped with a flat arch made of voussoirs. At the rear, the windows are sliding sashes.
