Description

The gates and piers to Moreby Hall, located approximately 40 metres to the north-east of the house, date from around 1830. They are constructed from magnesian limestone and feature cast-iron gates. There are four square piers, each approximately 2 metres high. The facades of the piers include panels of Gothick tracery and a frieze cornice, with one pier topped by a ball finial. The gates consist of six bars, which are adorned with a scroll and a central Yorkshire Rose.
