Description

Japonica Cottage is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is built of brick in Flemish bond and has a pantile roof. The house features an off-centre direct-entry plan and stands two storeys high with three first-floor windows. The 20th-century door is flanked by casement windows that sit beneath elliptical brick arches. There is a first-floor band with casements above, and the steeply pitched roof is topped with end stacks.
