Description
Wood House is an early 19th-century house constructed of brick in Flemish bond, topped with a 20th-century pantile roof and featuring brick stacks. The building has a central hallway entry and consists of two ranges under an M-shaped roof, with later additions to the rear and sides. It stands two storeys tall and has three bays. The entrance includes a half-glazed door with an overlight, situated in a wooden porch that is flanked by 16-pane sash windows. There are circular tie-plates on either side of the porch roof. On the first floor, there is a central sash window with glazing bars, also flanked by 16-pane sashes. The eaves are dentilled, and the roof is swept, tumbling down to the rear gable with end stacks.
