Description
Mount Pleasant Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, with a 20th-century extension. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond with a pantile roof and brick stacks. The building features a central hallway entry plan, with an outshut beneath a catslide roof at the rear. The entrance includes a six-fielded-panel door set in a plain doorcase with a dentilled cornice and a divided overlight, flanked by four-pane sash windows that have 20th-century shutters. On the first floor, there are also four-pane sash windows, all with flat brick arches above. The farmhouse has a stepped eaves course, tumbled-in and raised gable ends, and end stacks. The 20th-century extension to the right is not considered of special interest.
