Description
Beck Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the late 17th century and has undergone some alterations. The ground floor features coursed cobble walls with brick dressings around the openings and at the east end. Above this, there is lighter brickwork that appears to be from the 18th century, which likely replaced earlier cobbles. The building has limestone quoins on the lower half of the west corner and dentilled brick eaves consisting of three courses. The roof is made of pantiles with raised brick verges and end chimneys. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance features a modern door, and the windows are modern casements. Inside, the front rooms on the ground floor have chamfered ceiling beams.
