Description
This building is a workshop located next but one north-west of the Post Office in Ingleby Arncliffe, dating from the early 19th century. It was formerly a forge and is constructed of coursed herringbone-tooled sandstone with a pantiled roof featuring a stone ridge. The workshop is two storeys high and has five bays. In the centre, there is a two-leaf cart door, with flanking fixed lights, except for a Yorkshire sash window on the right. Above, there are two-light Yorkshire sashes, except for a three-light window in the right bay. The building is included for its group value.
