Description

Staddle Bridge House is a house dating from the early 19th century, incorporating some materials from an earlier medieval structure. It is constructed of ashlar with a Welsh slate roof. The house has two storeys and three bays. The central doorway features a half-glazed door with a matching overlight, set within a plain ashlar surround with a four-centred arch. All windows are four-pane sashes with stone sills and plain lintels. A shaped kneeler and stone coping are visible on the right-hand side, and the roof is hipped on the left. End and ridge stacks are also present. The left-hand return displays two large openings with chamfered edges on the ground floor, and above them is a flat-headed two-light chamfered window with ogee cusped-headed lights.
