Description

A house, now divided into two dwellings, dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. The building is constructed of pale red-brown brick in a Flemish bond pattern. It features a wood modillion eaves cornice and a Welsh slate roof with stone coping, kneelers, and an end stack to the left.

The house is three storeys high and originally three bays wide, although the central bay projects forward. The central bay contains a six-panel door topped with a decorative oblong fanlight. Flanking the door are Ionic pilasters supporting an architrave and cornice. Late 19th-century canted bays were added to the left and right, featuring sashes. A further 19th-century entrance is on the right, with a six-panel door set within a wooden case. The windows are 16-pane sashes with painted splayed lintels and keyblocks, while the second floor has shorter, eight-pane sashes. All windows are set within flush wood architraves.
