Description

The White House is a house, likely dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of pale red-brown local brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with painted stepped bands above the ground and first-floor windows. The roof is covered in pantiles and features end and ridge stacks, with raised verges. The house is two storeys high and comprises six bays, with a central break-forward. The central entrance has a six-panel door with an oblong fanlight containing glazing bars. Flanking the door are fluted pilasters with simple brackets supporting a dentilled open pediment. The windows are 12-pane sashes with splayed, painted lintels and shutters.
