Description

This is a house dating from the late 17th to early 18th century. It is constructed of rubble, with a 20th-century concrete interlocking tile roof. The house is two storeys high, with two windows on the first floor, and has a rear outshut to the right. There are quoins at the corners. The central entrance features a part-glazed six-panel door with fielded panels, set within a quoined ashlar surround. The windows are four-pane sash windows with projecting ashlar sills. The roof has raised verges and is steeply-pitched, with 20th-century brick end stacks. Inside, a ground-floor room to the left contains an inglenook fireplace with a late 18th to early 19th-century ashlar surround designed for a kitchen range.
