Description

No 18 Newbiggin is an 18th-century building that stands three storeys tall. It is constructed of red brick laid entirely in header bond, with rough rendering on the sides. The building features a stone slate roof, chamfered rusticated stone quoins, and kneelers. It has a brick dentil and chevron cornice. There are three windows on the top floor with moulded frames and no glazing bars, while the first floor and two ground floor windows have modern sash designs. The entrance on the left side is a six-panel door set in a plain moulded stone case, which includes a plain fanlight, pulvinated frieze, and a small cornice. An inset iron scraper is also present.
